A ghost in the glass with a different name,
To the lifeless paths just to feel the same,
Just to feel the shame.
Until it’s all gone I speak of nothing,

The night becomes the murderer,

Tainted mirror,
Blurred around the edges,

‘On A Dark Summer’s Night’ - our first headline show, will launch the release of our single “The Scarlet” and the accompanying video. It’s at the awesome Nambucca, London, and we will be joined by award-winning J-rockers Esprit D’Air, Francesco Fonte Band and DeadAudioSaints, plus a live performance from Rebecca Crow (Suicide Girls) and DJ Roi Robertson (live keyboards for Killing Joke).

Next Single - The Scarlet - Coming July 5th!
Our new single, ‘The Scarlet', will be released worldwide on Cargo Records UK/Livewire on July 5th.
'The Scarlet’ is our first release with the label, revealing a more introspective side to Diamond Black whilst maintaining our haunting, heartfelt heaviness. The song feats searing riffs, compulsive beats & mournful, memorable melody, with JI’s distinctive vocal transforming from ghostly whisper to venomous scream.

The single arrives hot on the heels of a well received run of UK dates (their first ever live shows) with Swiss alt/goth/folk/prog pioneers Cellar Darling.
